Three contracts of over RMB2 billion have been signed at a meeting in Hong Kong jointly hosted by Yuexiu District and the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangzhou Municipality. Besides the 2 billion, tens of millions more were attracted by Guangzhou due to its status as a headquarter economy center.

The promotion focused on headquarters economy, innovational industries and modern service industries. What interested investors most included the headquarters economy development base in Yuexiu District - China International Center (Zhong Hua Guo Ji Zhong Xin in Chinese, the second highest symbolic building in Guangzhou) and the modern service industry base ¨C the Asian International Finance Center (Ya Zhou Guo Ji Jin Rong Zhong Xin ) and the Fengchuan International Office Building (Feng Chuan Guo Ji Da Sha).
