Luhu Park

On December 12th, 2007, the Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area Bureau disclosed when reporting to the visiting representatives of the Guangzhou People's Congress that the eastern part of Luhu Road (from the Guangzhou Art Museum to the crossing of Hengzhigang Road) will be built into an open Luhu Mid-Hill Park, including the Baiyun Immortal Temple. After its completion, a flat roof will be extended to the lakeside. The park will be open without charge to the public for leisure and entertainment. The people may go for a walk or cycle along the lake. The Luhu Road currently crowded with traffic will have a complete ban on motor vehicles. As a result, Guangzhou Municipality is preparing to fund a project getting through Hengzhigang Road for the convenience of vehicles.

On December 12th, the relevant principal of the Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area Bureau released in his report, that the project proposal has been submitted to Guangzhou Municipality for examination and approval. The total investment of the project will total RMB 210 million.

Luhu Park is located in the downtown area with a serene atmosphere, green hills and blue water, a rare elegant place.
