The 4th China Ornamental Potted Plants Fair officially concluded on the afternoon of January 3rd, 2008. It had been learned from the Organizing Committee that the 4-day fair received a total of 137,000 visitors, among which professional audience and purchase groups accounted for over 8,000 people, achieving a plant order of RMB 1.42 billion.

As the grandest professional plant event in China, this Plant Fair drew 225 exhibitors, eighty percent of whom were from outside of Guangdong province. The first large scale delegation display of camellias and plum blossoms posed a sensational effect. The quality of the domestic fruit tree bonsais, cymbidiums, cymbidium hybridums and others had a boost, displaying numerous elaborate products.

According to the Organizing Committee, the exhibitors and buyers were all satisfactory for this fair. This fair has greatly advanced the plant transactions through the invitation of numerous buyers, holding colorful exchange events, etc. and effectively conveyed the market information to the buyers and producers. The statistics showed that over 88% of the enterprises made sound achievements in the respects of ordering and exchange at this fair. Some even reserved in advance the exhibition booths for "the 5th China Ornamental Potted Plants Fair".
