The 9th China Calligraphy & Seal Cutting Works Exhibition, jointly hosted by Chinese Calligraphers Association, the Publicity Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Guangdong Federation of Literature and Art Circles and Calligraphers Association of Guangdong Province, kicked off at Liuhua Complex on the morning of December 18th.

The exhibition, the most famous comprehensive exhibition of this kind in China, is held once a year. It is the first time for the exhibition to be held in South China. More than 30 thousand artists applied to participate in the exhibition, providing 55,319 works, the largest number the exhibitions have ever witnessed. In the end, 1,200 works, still the largest number ever witnessed, are available at the exhibition space that covers nearly ten thousand square meters.
