Citizens can enjoy the Australian garden buildings and culture in Guangzhou.
The Australian Garden, the first and the only one of its kind, was opened to the public on January 18th in the South China Botanical Garden. It is located at the southwestern part of the garden and covered a total area of approximately 10,000 square meters. It is home to over 150 types of original Australian plants as well as exhibitions of Australian garden buildings and the aborigines' life. The Australian Garden will also become a hub for public education and scientific research, biodiversity research in particular.
