Qingping Medicine Center Complex in Qingping Market in Liu-er-san Lu in Guangzhou.

According to the Guangzhou Daily, the Guangzhou Government will develop the Qingping Trading Center of Genuine Chinese Herbal with total budget of one billion yuan (128 million USD).

Phase one of the center has been put into operation while the construction of phase two will be completed in 2009.

The center is located at the Qingping Medicine Center Complex in Qingping Market in Liu-er-san Lu in Guangzhou.

Vice Guangzhou Mayor Wang Xiaoling said Guangzhou would be gearing to develop Qingping Market to be the biggest and best market of traditional Chinese medicine in China.

Qingping Market is one of the seventeen traditional Chinese medicine markets in the country, with average annual trading turnover of two billion yuan (256 million USD) amounting to 25 % of the national turnover. It is also the only market of its kind in Guangdong.
