The Motor Traffic Department of Guangzhou PSB and Guangdong PSB have their authorised sole agents in Hong Kong and Macau to handle foreigners¡¯application for local driving licence .

Requirements:

1.   4 each of recent colour photo (Driving licence size)
2.   Photo copy of passport
3.   Original of  valid driving licence or international driving licence

Charge  : HKS2,250.00  (subject to change)

Note: Application must be filed in person  with the authorised agent in Hong Kong or  Macau . Applicants will be required to sit for written test of traffic Regulations and to take a road test.

2. Foreigners Residing in Guangzhou

     Foreigners residing in Guangzhou can file their applications in the
Cenchun Driving Testing Centre  during office hours  Monday
through Friday.   Tel: 87705306  It is  about  10 kilometres away  in  the Northeast suburbs of  Guangzhou.
             
    How to Apply
   
    1.    Copies of passport ( with Chinese translation)  and residential card                                                                         
2. Valid driving licence with notarised document by the Public Notary
       Office
    3.    4 each recent colour photos (Driving licence size, red background)
    4.    Completed Application form for driving licence
    5.    Health check-up at designated hospital
    6.    Letter from the company or enterprise for which the applicant
           works
    
Applicants will be required to sit for written test of traffic regulation and road test.
