Q: How to get to the new airport?
A:
1) Airport bus from downtown Guangzhou to Baiyun Airport
A total of 150 luxurious airport buses will run 24 hours per day. Line A and B connecting new Baiyun Airport with downtown Guangzhou will put in to service, with other lines coming later.
Line A (34km): Huaxia Hotel => air ticket office => new airport.
Line B (35km): Guangzhou East Railway Station => Garden Hotel => new airport
2) Drive your own car
20 minutes' drive on 24-km airport express, with one-way fee 15 yuan (Class 1/2 auto). Charges for parking in the airport car parks are now under formulated by Guangzhou Price Control Administration.
3) Taxi
Most convenient but costly. Taxi trip from Guangzhou Railway Station to new airport may cost over 100 yuan (airport expressway fee included).

- According to the plan, 8 lines will all have stops at hotels. Currently discussion with hotels is on-going and the price is not set. In Line 7, different starting points, uni town and wushan will have ticket prices.
- There are free buses shuttling in the airport, bringing passengers who arrive at airport by any transportation means to different terminals.
Neighboring Cities: Coaches from Shenzhen, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan to new airport will starts every 50 minutes and all have stops at downtown of the above-mentioned cities.
Cost-saving return tickets will soon be available in coaches from Jiangmen, Huizhou, Shaoguan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Qingyuan, Shunde, Chang'an Dongguan and Longgang Shenzhen.
5) Underground (Planning)
Q: How to go to new airport by auto?
A:
- Autos from Dongshan, Haizhu, Liwan districts of Guangzhou get on airport expressway on Xinshi Toll, old airport road (Jichang Road), charge: 15 yuan
- Autos from Tianhe, Huangpu: Huanan expressway => Bei Erhuan express (North No.2 Ring) => New Airport Express, charge: 30 yuan
- North part of inner ring road is now under construction. Upon completion, inner ring road will be connected with airport express directly.
