Twelve products from twelve enterprises in Guangzhou won the honor of "China's Top Brand Products" for the first time this year. What's more, five trademarks of five enterprises also won the honor of "China's Famous Trademarks" for the first time. Guangzhou Municipality decided to commend the relevant enterprises, granting to these "China's Top Brand Products" and "China's Famous Trademarks" winners RMB 80,000 for each honor.

It has been learned that with the implementation of brand strategy, Guangzhou has fostered and developed a group of famous self-owned brands. In 2007, twelve products from twelve enterprises in Guangzhou won the honor of "China's Top Brand Products" for the first time, including the Guangzhou Shuangqiao Company Ltd. and others. Guangzhou Bawang Cosmetics Co. Ltd. and four other enterprises won the honor of "China's Famous Trademarks" for the first time for their five trademarks. Thirty-two products from twenty-eight enterprises won the honor of "Guangdong Provincial Top Brand Products" (Industrial Brands) for the first time, Guangzhou Want Want Foods Co. Ltd. included. Fifteen products from fourteen enterprises won the honor of "Guangdong Provincial Top Brand Products" (Agricultural Brands) for the first time, including the Guangzhou Treasure Flavour Food Co., Ltd. And forty-eight trademarks from forty-six enterprises won the honor of "Guangdong Provincial Famous Trademarks", including the Guangdong Yuehe Industry Co., Ltd.

To encourage enterprises to foster and develop self-owned core technologies and brands, Guangzhou Municipality decided to commend the above enterprises, and grant an award of RMB 80,000 for each honor of "China's Top Brand Products" and "China's Famous Trademarks" to the winners and RMB 50,000 for each honor of "Guangdong Provincial Top Brand Products" and "Guangdong Provincial Famous Trademarks" to the winners.
